Fine art in winter photography.

I pray that my end does not come via exposure although it would seem appropriate for the fate of a photographer. Winter photography is tough to shoot, I love and hate it. I get too far involved in what I am doing and am almost always unaware of the elements and what they are doing to me, at least until I get home. I thought this was a quirk on my part alone but was surprised to discover that it is common with many photographers. There is something to be said for a craft that draws you in to such an extent that even the elements take a back seat. It made me appreciate all the more the work of many photographers that travel to some of the most inhospitable places on the planet, and perhaps envy them as well.
